For nearly three decades, Ardmore Art has championed the artists of our region — and brought them into dialogue with voices from across the country and around the world. We believe a gallery should be a place where work is seen carefully, questions are welcomed, and time is given.
Founded by Margaret Holloway in 1998 in a converted hardware storefront on Main Street, the gallery now occupies a 6,500-square-foot space designed for intimate viewing and ambitious group shows alike. We host twelve exhibitions a year, an annual juried prize for emerging Oklahoma artists, and ongoing programs in art education and acquisition advising.
Solo presentations, themed group shows, and collaborative installations — all curated with the careful eye that has defined Ardmore Art for nearly thirty years.
A solo exhibition tracing one year in the artist's studio practice, with twenty-two new paintings drawn from the Cross Timbers landscape.
